But I hope this answers how someone may like 2 and 3 while others might not. However I can understand when a game is not for someone. I use 1 for horror, 2 for a mix of everything, and 3 I only play when I do co-op with a friend who has it and that is the order of my fave to least fave, 1,2,3.
Overall I like them for their different reasons. And ds1 was great for horror and atmosphere but the story was somewhat bland and that didn't help with the fact that isaac didn't talk. Ds2 yes it did not have as much horror than 1 but with more weapon choices (Not needed just an added benefit), the story and lore in universe more flushed out,story still went from good to bad, and just better graphics all around of course it would be a good game. Ds3 was worse all around but still fun for just messing around for co-op and using it like a saints row of the dead space games to just mess around with a friend on.
